Can't join thieve's guild?

Are we really not able to join the thieves' guild? i.e Atlantic?

I read something about it on the FoF (or the sorry excuse that could have been a FoF).

Is it bugged for everyone? Will I not be able to make a thief before I go back to work on Wednesday night?

Making the thief isn't the problem, problem is only in joining the thief guild. It has been bugged like this for a long time, Dev's I guess never figured it was a problem urgent enough to fix

Start a thief on Siege. No bugs there (well, at least in regards to getting in the thief guild)...la
