Can you resize a house while under 7 day placement timer?

Does anyone know if I can re-size a plot while still under the house placement timer? (ie: cannot place housing for X amount of hours?)

7 day timer is for accepting a new home.
You can resize as much as you want..givin there is a 1 hr timer between drops.
