Can Rideable Pets Be Ridden After Training?

Sorry if this has been asked already but my question is when you train say a dread or a cu from 3-5 are they still rideable? I dont want to train either one if it ends up i cant ride them afterwards. Is there any actual dev response on this? Thanks much for any info :)

They indeed stay rideable
