can arcane be altered?

My main reason up to this point for not making a gargoyle is that they can't use my favorite item in the game... Not everyone likes them, but I do. I enjoy using arcane robes, cloaks and boots. I would like to use arcane gloves but I've never seen them with really high resists on them.

Well, I think I just found out what "altered" means. So, my question is, can arcane robes, cloaks and boots be altered? If so I may finally make the leap and make a gargoyle today.

I'm not sure if arcane clothes are any different, but I think a gargoyle can wear a human robe without having to make any changes to it.

That's a very interesting question. You can alter plain cloaks and boots.

However the answer to your question is 'no'. sorry.

I was just nervous about converting one of my characters over to a gargoyle. Of course I could just go to test center and answer my own question. *looks embarrassed*
