Brightly coloured recall runes?

I know, probably a daft question, but how are people getting brightly coloured recall runes? The most popular one, it seems is similar to a bright fire colour. Any ideas?

I noticed this the other day when marking some runes for the village. I'm fairly sure that they stain fire-red when you mark inside your house.

I have noticed that ship runes have different colors for different kinds of ships. Orc ships are red, Gargoyle ships are light blue and Britiania ships are bright orange and Tokuno ships are an aqua color. My castle rune when marked inside is a bright orange.
