book of masteries...

can someone please explain "book of masteries" and primers?...
there are 3 volumes to skills .. one book of masteries...
I've read volume one in a lot of skills but don't seem to be able to use any of the spells...

do you have to read all the volumes of a skill to use spells from book... (not sure how it works)


...btw... I keep getting "you are not on the correct path to use this mastery ability" and I know I've read volume one in that skill.

lol... figured it out... need to single click on book and choose a mastery... they need to put instruction in these books...

a shame after 17 years of playing and still a newb.

but still post tips and tricks ... I'm still learning........

That's all right, I haven't bothered to learn anything about masteries either
