Dear old friends (and those who never knew me I beg your pardon),
So many years have past since Britannia Catskills began as a virtual world and, shortly thereafter, a certain shipwreked barefooted lass washed ashore on Moonglow Island. She came to be known as "Barefoot Princess" and to her dear friends as simply "Barefoot". After nearly 12 rl years she sailed for the wild lands of Siege Perilous along with several loyal adventuring companions. Known there as Branwyn of Errol, she enjoyed many adventures. But in her deep heart she treasured a dream and a longing to return to her true Kingdom but the passageway was hidden from her. At long last the way has been opened to her, but she will not pass this way again. She has been granted a blessing to visit the land of Siege on occasion to pay a visit to her friends who remain there and to write her memoirs to be placed in a special library there. Some of those she came to know here remain, some have left to roam other lands, some have gone home to that Kingdom before her. To those still here, she bids a fond farewell.
