New Haven. Get a couple of spectral spellbinders on him and you can go from 0 - GM in a couple of hours. They do 0 - little physical damage and the only spells they cast are stat affecting, which is exactly what you need.

The spellbinders are not aggressive so you will need to attack them with whatever pet you are training in order to get aggro but then immediately tell the pet to stop as most pets can 1-hit them. From that point on your pet will just stand there while they are being attacked.

i normally do an "all kill" then immediately "all follow me".

Alternatively you can just tell them to stop/stay and spam weaken on them.
Spectral Spellbinders work alot better, since you can get about 12 Spellbinders spamming debuff spells on the pet. After the pet hits 100.0 Resist, the pet will then start to quickly gain STR/DEX up to 125 while the Spellbinders spam on it.

Oh I know, but some people might not be quick enough to say kill/stop before the pet kills the binder, especially if it's already mostly trained. Plus it's handy if you just need to regain a point or two from a death.
