A new bug with the escort quests-UPDATE: FAILED QUEST?

Ok, so I decide to work on my compassion for a little bit before I do anything else. I have now done 2 escorts, and although it does seem that I am gaining in compassion, I get a message that tells me that I failed my escort quest.

What exactly happens:

I arrive at my destination with the escort. This message appears on my screen:

You have gained in compassion.
You have failed your escort quest.

Apparently this needs looking into.

Do you get gold and get thanked by the NPC?

Where are you picking up and dropping off escorts?

Yes I get the gold and "seem" to gain in compassion. I won't be sure until I actually finish my 5 for the day. I can't do that as of yet as my shard just went down. I get the message that I failed and a strange sound plays with it. Just think its probably a minor issue, but an issue nonetheless that could mess with people accidently.

I picked up my escorts in Cove and brought one to Serpents Hold and the other went to Nujelm.

UPDATE:

I am now on my 4th escort, mind you the previous 3 all gave me the gold and the message stated I gained in compassion AND I failed my quest, but now on the 4th one, I start in Cove, arrive at my destination of Nujelm, and this time all I got was that I failed my escort quest!

I now have to wait the 5 minute timer all over again AND still do the 4th and 5th. Please someone tell me this will be fixed. It is extremely annoying now that I actually was told I failed for no good reason and have to do it again and wait the timer.

Note: I have done escorts on both my account and my husbands and they are both doing the same thing.
