The gentle spring breeze blows through Nwalme’s long blond hair as she closes her eyes and enjoys the silence. The days have been quiet, perhaps too quiet. The faction conflict has taken a sudden and unexpected hiatus; from crazy days of thieving, running and defending to easily securing and controlling the towns.
The True Britannians control all eight towns having secured them with surprising ease and they will remain that way under the watchful eye of Commanding Lord Galen. Nwalme has only shared a few words with Lord Galen, finding him both admirable and frightening at the same time. But then, a sneak thief tends to lead a rather solitary life and Nwalme finds it difficult to interact with most inhabitants of this land so the fact that she is somewhat intimidated by the Commanding Lord should not be a surprise.
The parchment in Nwalme’s hand rustles and she returns to reading the most recent account from her cousin Tink’r Toiz fighting with the True Britannians in the land of Great Lakes. Their war is still hard fought, they control the towns but each day brings battles of will for that control. Nwalme wonders how long it will be before the conflict spreads and the True Britannians in Lake Superior too find themselves in full war for the control of the towns.
For now Nwalme is content to see all the towns safely secured by the True Britannians but remains vigilant, as do all the TB, and ready to defend the towns if the conflict should escalate. This down time will be well used to heal and regain strength before the rival factions re-organize and attempt to corrupt the towns.
*taps on screen* … hello?? Where are all the faction players? Come now, you aren’t going to let the TB control the towns this easily are you?? Nwalme hasn’t had a chance to run/steal in weeks… she is getting positively grumpy!
