4/6 Dexer? New to Game, what does 4/6 mean?

I've seen the "4/6" everywhere and assumed it was a split of skill points, but then saw it posted on char templates that didn't split anything 40/60, so what does "4/6" stand for? Thanks!

(4) faster casting/ (6) faster cast recovery

Buffs/Bonus you can get through various pieces of equipment. Means your spells for things like Chivalry, Magery, Necromancy etc. cast faster (FC) After you cast a spell there is a delay before you can cast another FCR reduces this delay.

4/6 is the cap on these bonuses

4/6 is the cap on the combat assist skills. IIRC, for the pure casting skills (like magery, mysticism and spellweaving), once you get over a certain skill level, you get limited to 2/6

Any idea what that level is when it switches over to a 2/6 cap?

I believe somewhere between 30 and 70 for the pure casting skills - forget exact number.
