[Parry] 0-70 Fast and Easy

Load up with as much Physical Resist as you can (HPI/HPR is useful, too)

0-40, Train at the armory in New Haven
40-50, Train with the New Haven Quest for Parrying (should happen with other skills, otherwise, use the method below)
50-70, Target 8-9 Zombies to attack you and then drop out of combat. Heal yourself regularly and you should reach 70 Parrying within 40-60 minutes.

(I also took healing up to 60 while working on my parrying in this manner.)

Classic tactic is going to yew and aggro as many sheep as possible. But i think zombis work the same

It is easier to equip a 2 handed weapon of a weapon proficiency you don't have (ie You use swords, get a staff), get several zombies and skeletons bashing you at New Haven.
You will make it to 120 in about one hour, one hour and 15 minutes.

i used self repair armor, 2H weapon (need several weapons to get to 120) and 9 sheep. They do so little damage that low level confidence is more than enough to heal.

I'm using the Virtue Armor, so no need to repair it (super useful) and I was using a shield with 255/255 that I was just going to let explode (or if it's still in good shape put a LBRD on it). The 2H weapon idea isn't too bad though, I'll have to look into that one...

Does the 2H weapon approach require that you have Bushido (for the weapon parry)?

No, it doesn't.
I trained three different characters that way, and only one of them had bushido. It worked the same way for all of them.

Worked wonderfully for me. I slapped a couple of black staves in my backpack, went to New Haven. Provoked 9 Zombies, and just sat there chatting with friends and applying band-aids until I hit 120 Parrying. I ate a couple SoT while I was at it, too, so I went from the 70 I started with to 120 in about an hour.
