SeaPilot

This is a simple boat tool for the enhanced client.

A picture is show below and the file is zipped.

It only sends text to the client so the UO people should never be concerned.

Please report back any problems.

I will be also coding a standard client version in the next day or so (although several similar programs exist right now and are available at Stratics).

Download it here -> http://dl.dropbox.com/u/21830660/SeaPilot.zip

Pretty neat, but to be honest, you can do that in the client itself with some arangement of hotbars and macros.

The only reason I can so for using this is to remove clutter from interface. Does it respond to hotkeys while running in the background?

I wrote it for people who only use boats now and then who didnt bother to set it up.

It does not respond to hotkeys since i did not want it to conflict with any current setups.

Do most people have the keypad already mapped?

I think most probably do because it's such a pain in the arse to maneuver. The "one" forward and "slow" forward options are good additions that aren't available in the EC Client.

For some of our serious role-playing Mariners this may be quite a handy tool.

I believe that the one forward and slow forward are available... through the "Say" macro.

Actually on second thought this will actually free me of an entire hotbar!

Currently I have one hotbar dedicated to Sailing Commands. No longer! :)

Thanks TheDrAJ!

Not sure why, but it doesn't seem to actually.. do anything.. for me. I press any of the buttons and nothing.

Edit: Never mind. It has to be given administrator permissions. Should have tried that first. It's often the problem.

You probably are running widows 7 or vista and need to right click on file and run as administrator.
