uhh, so how many pandas are we buying from china? no seriously what is the royal zoo fund? as far as maintenance doesnt all garbage dissappear everyday, and fences seem to stay preatty healthy on there own. not trying to be a butt, but just thought it was funny.
The Royal Zoo is located on the Island of Moonglow. At the eastern entrance to the zoo there is a donation box. You can donate either certain animals or gold. If you double click on the donation box you'll see the tier the zoo is at, animals you can donate, how many points you have donated to the zoo, the total amount of points that is currently in the donation box, and what rewards are available to you premised on how many points you've donated.
The zoo started out empty with no animals exhibited. For every animal or gold that is donated to the donation box the points increase. When the donation box reachs tier 1, an animal will appear in one of the fenced in areas of the zoo. When enough points have been added then the zoo will reach tier 2 and another animal will be exhibited in the zoo. When the zoo reaches the top tier, tier 11, a silver steed will be exhibited. This is the top tier. Currently the Baja Royal Zoo is at tier 11 and has been there for almost a year I believe.
The zoo points, not your personal points, do decay everyday. I am not positive but its something like 3% a day or week. So the zoo needs constant donations to maintain its exhibited animals.
This is where the Sunday evening taming hour comes in. There are a number of tamers that get together and tame like crazed zealots for an hour. Everyone is invited and encouraged to participate regardless of your taming skill. Just check the donation box to see what animals are accepted that you can tame and go at it! The more difficult to tame animals give more points than the lower level ones so you want to donate accepted animals that are at your maximum taming ability. People often show up to drop off a donation of gold too!
If you are not a tamer you can donate items too. This is where Sara's zoo maintenance vendors come in. People drop items in her mailbox that they are donating. She puts them on the vendors and the proceeds get donated to the zoo.
