Sorry, do you mean rez kills? Pet gets rez killed only if you accept the rez. Not sure what the benefit is except maybe in PvP.

This was put in so that if you pet dies while you applies a bandage it wont get resurrected and then maybe die again since the area probably is rather dangerous for your pet. Or is it the vetrinarians you are asking about then its just an evil delay.

There is a bug where you have yo go to a fel town to rez your pet.
