Howdy folks.

Tonight, Saturday, 01/31/15, around prime-time K^S will be popping a harrower on Catskills and begin to set up defenses. This serves as an announcement of that harrower to anyone who wishes to come raid us.

We look forward to a night of pvp and we invite off-sharders to bring their pvpers over as well and attend.

i dont know if i would call that a public harrower.
that was more of a owned and operated by the VvV alliance harrower.
i didnt see anyone from the public in there.

did you guys loose control of it already?
or maybe the words public harrower means something different on cats.

cause after dodging the reds at the entrance i run in and got killed by a pack of blues for just opening the door and saying hi.

Yeah they had mad fields up, only 4 ppl at the harry, no competition....lots of trash talk going on in chat though lol

Harrower is over. This was an announcement of a harrower and an invitation for pvp. It was never announced as "public." Public would imply that it was a cooperative effort where we all do the harrower together as a shard. Those can be very challenging especially if you get opposition whom is in vent and map together raiding a bunch of disorganized people.

If you wanted to help Poo, it may have been a good move to send a PM saying that. We have to assume that anyone who approaches us is on a raid. We had lots of thieves and stealthers trying to get in.

Still we did not get the turn out we had hoped for. Props to the individuals who did try to raid.

I am thinking we will make this a regular thing and hold these once or twice a month. PvP will only be a shard transfer away.

Also Poo, VvV is not an alliance. All VvV participants show the tag VvV. Our alliance is just two guilds.

Sorry you had a negative experience. If you want to play with us in the future, give us a heads up. =)

ah well, got to dole out 5 murder counts, guess that makes it worth the dirt nap.

what was the head count on that defence?
40 toons including death cams, trackers, fielders, entrance welcoming comity and harrower crew?

Between the two guilds in our alliance, we had 20 people in vent. We had a team of 4-6 dedicated to the pvm aspect with two of those pull-able to defend if needed. We had defense set ups at four points with 6 at two of these areas (nearby each other) and 1 each at the other two areas. We did not have any cams, we had stealthers near the access points to the dungeon to make us aware if someone was coming. Call us over-cautious on our defenses, but we did announce it 18 hours in advance on the UHall.
