Yes, another UOAssist question

Hi all,

Been a very long time since I played and after a great discussion and walk down memory lane, I had an uncontrollable urge to visit my old 'stomping-grounds' from 98-06.

I tried to download UOAssist, but I'm getting a '503 - Service Unavailable' error when I click the link.

Now before everyone goes searching for old threads and posts links, let me tell you what I have tried:

I've tried pinging 64.72.210.109 and it times out.
I've tracert 64.72.210.109 and it goes all the way until 64.72.210.109 and times out.
I've downloaded an older version and tried to let it patch up to current, but it fails to connect - even with the 10 attempt regedit.

So that's where I'm at. Any help would be appreciated.

Post-script: Why the HELL didn't we/someone think of mirroring the current-version download?!? I seriously have scoured the interwebz for any and all uoassist.exe downloads and there's not one that I could find with any files with good intentions.

Hmm, tugsoft.com appears up, but not updateace.com, although UOA does load up normally for me.

If you could try the link on the side then try to get the file UOAssist.exe, please let me know if it works or not for you...

I just tried it. Went to Tugsoft.com and clicked on the "get it now" link on the left of the screen. Went to "Step 2" and tried to download the uoassist.exe file and got "Unknown server error".

I just put a new hard drive in my system on Friday (20 June) and reloaded the OS. I had to reload UO and UOAssist and this link was working fine then. Hopefully they will have whatever is wrong fixed soon.

I get a very similar message. The main website itself is up, but when trying to download the executable from updateace.com:

Service Unavailable
HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable.​

Hi Tegan, in the same boat here. Old player returning and having the same issue with the download. I emailed Tugsoft so we'll see if they can do anything. I have found a few UOAssist downloads on the web but all seem to be very old and not working. I feel naked without UOAssist.

It would be nice in broadsword could hire someone to create a new UO Assist type program that would be free for anyone to use and freely downloaded from the uo.com website as an approved program.

The download link for UOAssist seems to be working once again, you can download it at...Tugsoft.com.

Funny, I was trying on my Laptop yesterday and it wasn't working.

Per @CovenantX looks like the files are readily downloadable again.
