Comming back to SP to play with my old buddy Ginsu and all the rest of the fine people of SP. I`m wanting to start a totally different char than what I`m used to playing. Seen a rl friend just tearin it up with a garg thrower on LS and got me interested. I know his is prolly highly item based so lookin for more of a skill set for SP and not so item heavy... Think he said his was myst/necro for shade form and throw/tact/resist....not sure though....Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

Templates are the same as on prodo. Mystic thrower is probably hardest to do right because of equipment limitations.
Going necro is easier then bandage healing at first because of bandage prices.
But you could copy an ABC archer as well.
For a start, something with 99 necro for vampiric embrace and 50-70 spiritspeak for curse weapon will get you going fast.
I use
120 throwing
120 bushido
115 tactics
99 necro
70 spiritspeak
71 chiv
120 imbuing

Most of the time cyclones as weapon and char in protection.
Equipment is easy to make, no arties needed.

Hmmmm why imbuing? Wouldn`t resist or.... anat for more damage or something else be more viable or am I missing something bout Imbue? Other than that, was kind of exactly what I was thinkin bout.... my friend on LS only runs 40 necro for shade form with his garg, was wondering why when vamp seems so much better. Either way....lookin forward to some SP fun! Thanks for the intel and more is always welcome!

About the imbuing on the char, had only one account and no house here when i made him , was good to get things started. 120 resist or anat would be better of course, tbh i didnt want the gimpest version.
With imbuing its healing stone and enchant weapon, its not completely useless.

There are some advantages with vampiric embrace under siege ruleset, you are not on foot and keeping positive karma is easier. Apart from the life leech, the 15sr, 3mr and poison immunity are very helpful here. Being not on foot makes it easier to get away and keep your stuff.
Remember you will not run 50 hci+hld and 40lmc all the time, you need to compensate for that.

I run the following on Atlantic:

120 Throwing
100 Bushido
100 Chivalry
100 Tactics
100 Anatomy
100 Healing
60 Spirit Speak
40 Necro

I love it. Wraith Form mana leech, honor, effective EOO and CW, bandage healing and curse weapon for rough PvM encounters. AIs non-stop on a foe with a big mana pool (i.e. Corgul, Slasher, etc). I run in protection so not having resist works for me. I've thought about creating the same template on Siege, and I think it could be done but not quite as effectively. 40 SSI and 150 Stamina is 1.75s throws. That is probably the best you could get on Siege. I would use my Siege bless on a Breastplate of the Berserker (if you can get one). On Atlantic, I run 45 SSI and 180+ stamina which is the next tier to get a 1.5s throw rate.

Just my thoughts from a someone who has been running Wraith Throwers on the standard shards, but is a Siege newbie. Take it for what it is worth. I considered building a Wraith Thrower on Siege, but chose to go with a Sampire instead.

So far I am going:

Bushido
Chiv
Throw
Tact
Necro
Spirit Speak

Kicking around a 7th like Resist or somthing but... would love to keep all skill....skill based and not item,so will prolly keep it a 6 skill temp (I don`t have 720,acc is only 29 months old...lot older, but only pay when I play). I know it will suck on certain mobs w/o bandies, but hopefully evasion and SS/Confidence and leaches will suffice. At least I have an alchy here so can keep maself in the pots and with Ginsu at my side....all I need is gold!

115 or 120 resist and you get a very flexible and sturdy char. Add anat and healing later via soulstones. With a cyclone, curse weapon and momentum strike you can happy play melee style if you want.

Obsisidan's whammy version is very item dependent, it only works really well with certain arties and imbued to the max suit. Problem with such a suit is that alot of relics are needed to make it and there is no endless easy supply of them here. Risking 45-55 relics per suit and a good amount of imbuing ingredients should be left to pvp templates. I also seem to have trouble finding mana phasing orbs with hci here.

There is also not much profit to make from peerless arties, you can have a better income by doing spawns or just collecting resources.

Edit:
With the latest changes, going 120 chiv on a thrower is also interesting, as the added boni can replace mods on items.
