WTH! UOGAMECODES.COM IS NO MORE

It appears it's gone forever now. Every link I tried leads now to Origin.com.

It only lists nine UO products for sale by searching UO. I did find others by remembering their name at the uogamecodes.com but it seems some products have been lost for now.

I can't find the 11th year collection at all.

The 7th character slot + storage combo is nearly 1/2 off at $16.00.

Did you mean to say you were redirected to Origin.com. Even typing into the address bar Origin - Search Results sends you to origin.com.

Works fine for me...and it's no longer JUST UO..if you remember the account migration we just went through..everything...and I mean EVERYTHING is going through Origin...even codes..noone is on vacation..this is intended.

There is no longer a link to the game code store from the official UO website in English. There is no information on the UO Japan site that mentions losing the game code store in Japanese that you cannot access from an IP outside Japan.

Only eleven UO-related items seem to be available in the English version of the Origin.com store: Advanced Character token; Character Transfer token; Legacy Token; 7th Character Slot code; 7th Character Slot and Additional Storage code; SA Upgrade; Rustic Theme Pack; Captain's Bundle; 3-Month Game Time code; 6-Month Game Time code; the High Seas booster (have to search for it by name); Forged Metal Tool (10 charges) (search by name).

UO-related codes/items you currently cannot purchase directly from EA include the following (going from memory here and picking through the Japanese UO site, so probably missing a few):

While it is a great opportunity to watch for future Origin sales, a heads up would have done a lot to promote this positively provided all the same items were available. I've been saying this since they migrated to the Origin.com system - these need to be available to be purchased from within our account management system. We shouldn't have to go to multiple websites to upgrade our accounts or buy the boosters, there should just be one website with everything there.

Something else you can't buy right now is that blade that helps with stealing. Can't think of the name, but the one Mesanna was asking about last week. Came out the same time as the Undertaker's Staff. Also, can't buy either version of the Merchant's Trinkets.

Jeff Skalski's response on Twitter says there will be a Herald post tomorrow; more items are coming in the future; and try searching using "Ultima." (I already tried that and it didn't help, but maybe it will work better for someone else?)

This is such BS! I saved up 40 buck put it on a VISA giftcard then when I tried to buy the stuff I wanted from the codestore it blew up.

I talked to Origin Store support they didn't know WTF I was talking about the Grand Baazar Pack or could give a **** less I was going to purchase a total of 6 of them. (2 with gift card and 4 with Creditcard)

I talked to the Livechat which is also a STEAMING PILE OF BS. Kuldar from INDIA told me to call the support number at 1-866-543-5435.

Its pathetic that ya'll just sit back and take this .....Total SHEEPLE!

When I try to go to uogamecodes.com I get redirected to origin search results for "uo" and it lists 14 items. (ultima only comes up with 13). But alas, still no grand bazaar or gothic theme pack or 11th anniversary stuff. Perhaps they chose only the most popular items to transfer? Hopefully they will get at least some of the others up again as I was expecting I'd eventually buy the workbench and probably the earrings.

However, the good news is that many items are on sale which as far as I know never happened at uogamecodes so while I would have appreciated a heads up, overall I'm happy at this change. I expect some of the other items will be made available again or perhaps the items will become available in some other way? *nudge nudge*

The 7th character slot and storage combo is still on sale but not 50% off. But that brings me to another question. If I got the high seas booster which says it increases my house and bank storage by 20% should I avoid buying the character slot and storage combo or the increased storage from that one stack with the one from high seas?

Some of the changes we've experienced lately -- particularly account migration and now this -- leave me wondering what's around the next corner.

The house and bank storage increases do stack. Everyone now has the ML 20% house storage increase. When you add in the Character slot/House bank combo and the High Seas Booster, you end up with 7 character slots, 60% house storage increase and 40% bank storage increase or 175 item limit.

I think this is a very good step.. sure they could of told us about it.. but at least Origin system works.. and we can use paypal to pay for them! or at least could.. have not tested it lately.

If we all calm down a little... then it will get sorted.. I do Believe Jeff is somewhat different to previous team leaders! for one as Jirel said he answers tweets.. which is a lovely thing for a producer of a game full of angry people to do! lets give them a break Let Jeff get him self sorted and let the team get used to Jeff's ways of thinking.. Also its that busy / expensive time of year I am sure Origin/EA are riding them hard to make money at this time!

I for one am VERY happy about the update to the online store situation for UO..

And origin is totally horrible!

It forces me to go to the German website when I happen to be in Germany for work, and I can't change the language to English, it only changes the main page to english and then takes me back to the german page if I click anything. That and most items actually cost much more in Euros than they do in dollars, and discounts never apply to non-US residents.

Ah well I'll just get my mate in Argentina to order the stuff for me. Items should be one price for everyone, grrr!
