Yes, I saw that, too. Using gates for compassion quests was most frustrating yesterday and today on Origin.

Major problem with gates on Siege. ( We have no recall here) Sometimes have to cast two or three before it will let me thru one.

Ya gates r totally messed up but hey what do you expect after a patch...something has to go wrong its a requirement.

this must be a side product of not allowing people to gate to water! perhaps a new gate pass check? WHO KNOW!?
If were lucky! they will revert the change and I can start my swim team back up!

I noticed on siege about 89% of the time any gate you will cast you will get the "You lack cohesion message" more so than prodo shards..
I have actually sat through 3 complete gate casts the other day laughing my head off cause it wouldn't let me thru, I was outside a dungeon gating to a bank, and I knew it was only a matter of time b4 a pack of reds came thru and ganked me...
Guess what happened!?

I just thought it was supposed to be that way on siege (gates failing alot)
It does make a simple task as gating alot more exciting at times! That is for sure!

Accidentally gate into a hot area and you are screwed.
As of after our Napa Server maint cycle, you still get the numerous "Your spirit lack .... " and can't get through the gate. I have just casted my 2nd gate in a row to where our party needed to go and only at the end of the 2nd gate was I able to go through.
It's very annoying, but at least public gates are not effected.
On Siege, I would not mind to see gates go away if we could have a few more public gates to places far away from town and other gates.
I would also like to see some set of npc's like the gupsy vendor and bank npc's in Ilshenar, special some of the not used guard forts would be perfect for npc vendors to help player towns community.
I like to see people traveling more instead of gate around.

Well all i know is after doing my daily 2 1/2hr ROT gaining and other stuff i have to do daily b4 being able to do anything else; I decided to do my daily compassion gains...
OMG i broke my own personal record of 4 gates...omidway through my 5th gate it let me through...
I dropped off the NPC & told my guild bye for the day (not gonna spend another 2 hrs for compassion gains cuz only every 3rd or 4th gate will work)
Piper will be playing alot less til its fixed...once something becomes less fun and more like a part time job because of "fixes" then its time to play sumin else til these "fixes" are truly fixed.
XBOX 360 has alot less bugs and seem to be able to run a server including over thousands of titles with alot less probs then we been having as of late with UO.
So for peeps that know me on XBOX Live...thats where Piper be for the meanwhile....
