This is a brainstorm.
I always write about walking in any direction and finding something random to do.

In a sentence or two write your random encounter. The basis is.... you walk to a destination and find (BLANK). These things come and go.

1. A traveling band of gypsys with interesting colored silks.
2. A crevice in the mountains side that leads to a collapsed dungeon.
3. Wash up shipwrecked items.
4. An orc war wagon.
5. A corpse with odd loot on it and a map.

Thats a good start.

I never get answers about randomizing adventure. But that wont stop me!!!

You walk to the right a dozen miles. Then to the left. Then to the south you travel on the back of your horse for several days.

You meet an archer in neon-pink robes who says "sup dood" and recalls away.

You forgot you can have no excitement or random encounters, because you are in trammel.

:violin:

Do you even play in Felucca? To have such an almighty stick up your arse about Trammel you must spend alot of time there, else you would stop whining and let the Trammies have their facet while you stay on yours.

But fel IS empty.

btw, I ONLY hunt in Felucca.I`ve been on Atlantic for ~3 weeks, and visited Illshenar and Tokuno no more than 4-6 times.

I guess you just feel that you have to throw some s**t in my face, without even knowing HOW I play.

but you must be used to it, your 119 posts to date are all about throwing s**t in other players faces

did you expect anything less, treat others how you want to be treated, have a think about that

As we can see there is a lack of random adventure in UO.

Walking forever to find nothing but the same. All facets.

Would you consider this a derailed thread?

I guess it was bit to complex.

You ride on the back of your purple cusidhe trough the jungle North-West of Trinsic, and soon you feel the need to check the UOA map (I guess it has one) because you are lost and scared, and are no longer sure whether you are in Trammel or Felucca.

You are looking for an easy mark that will give the least resistance, assuring your victory. You find someone in bone armor at the Moonglow cemetary. They are obviously a newb judging by their armor and the fact they are attacking skeletons and barely defeating them. You wait for your chance when they are at less than half life and begin your assault. Just as you click to target your precast energy bolt you wake up in a sweat realizing it was a dream from 11 years ago. Disgusted you login to Stratics and begin posting ridiculous ideas about the past you can't seem to move on from.

Derailment successful.

I love those days.

We have a lack of sand in our sandbox game.
The sand. Decorate our house.

Aside from that... Im not sure. Give us some sand in our adventure.

Whilst wandering the woods one fair day
I came upon another who had lost their way
After chatting a bit
The guy I tried to hit
And in jail I sit to this day.

Moral of the story: don't pick on a GM (they wear red robes)!!

Whilst travelling along the Covetous mountain range I stumble upon a corpse full of pickaxes and bottles of ale.

"I came upon another who had lost their way"

nowadays it`s quite believable that a GM could lost their way, as they seem to know nothing of the game hehe.

I was walking north from Britian one fine eve and came across a mountain line. This was no mountain line of the ordinary sort. This mountain line was the home to many fierce and creepy creatures. I stealthed my way past a creepy giant spider looking for anything moving to entangle in it's web and preserve for t'morrow's breakfast. Just after safely stealthing past this creepy monster, I froze at the sight of the next hideous beast. A troll three times my height stood directly in front of me. It was soooo close I could smell the rotting flesh in between it's decaying teeth as it exhaled while staring down at me. I looked up and a glop of drool dribbled down and landed on my face. My legs refused to move, my only hope was that he didn't see me and my stealthing skills would keep my alive. I looked back down and thought there is no way he couldn't see me at this point. He had revealed me. Lifting his axe up above his head as though he was going to strike me, I managed to push my legs to run away and barely dodged his blade. He continued to swing at me as I continued to run from him but not wihtout a few scratches. If the troll didn't manage to kill me, the brushes surely would. Running the whole way back to town without looking back, I screamed to the top of my lungs for the guards in case the troll followed. Luckily I lived to tell you this story!
