On my Bard, I'm unable to participate - no change of Disco or Provocation. My Tamer gets creamed every time I step within 2 tiles of my pet to vet it. My Mystic cant cast RC or EV's I town. My have a chance on my sampire. Ill report back with his results..

the pet isn't the problem (greater dragon), Vetting the dragon is. If I get too close to the pet I get hit with some kind of attack that halves my life.

Use g heals, vetting will only get you targeted, you need too cast offensivly as well to get dmg.spellweaving heals work fine

Mana regen & resist. Do your best to stay as close to 10 tiles from your mob as possible. Some have posted that if your tanking it may a very big challenge to keep up with the damage being done. Do your best not to swamped. Work the edges of the spawn until you find the captain. Luck quite a bit for drops as well.
When people post that your a wimp or stupid don't let it bother you. Those people post to gain attention & show how great they think are, not help.
As hen so eloquently has.

Uggh I'm dyingg.. you cut me.

Sometimes I think it is better to learn in game as opposed to taking to the boards right away. My invasion character is a crappy archer, I'm sure Eric could whip one of those up in no time if he hasn't already.

A few mage or mystic friends to keep the dragon alive, just as players already do with certain peerless bosses that have area effects. One type of captain, I forget which, has a really, really large area effect. Most are smaller, so a spellcaster can be outside the damage area but close enough to heal the dragon.

My complaints are with other things. I don't mind that a captain generally requires teamwork, which is a refreshing change from a single char being able to solo most anything. I did solo a captain tonight with a warrior, not a sampire, just chivalry and no bushido. I stood toe-to-toe for most of 20 minutes, not needing to joust. Every so often I'd have to back up and heal, but my hp/mana regen suit and Vampiric Essence cutlass (100% life leech and Blood Drinker) mostly kept my health up.

I understand as I can't use my "luck" tamer to do the spawns since she just doesn't have the mana for it..... but my other tamer does..... but still my dragon has died like 15 times a night ..... so I use my archer.... but even then I've a growing collection of death robes that would make Mesanna swoon....

My guess is the DEV's have come up with this invasion as a massive gold sink..... I have already lost countless thousands from all the deaths...

As for the rest on my Archer I'm able to help heal dragons which if I get the calculations right gives me more points in getting the drop... I heal them with my Chivy close wounds spell... seems to work alright.

So just a suggestion..... make a new suit for your tamer something with high mana return...... take off the weapon skills and put on med and focus or something.

I presume by "make a new suit for your tamer" you're addressing the other guy. I haven't done too badly on my tamer, who has a MR18 suit to begin with, but that's still not enough to keep my GD alive all by myself. It's died a couple of times when I'm not quick enough to summon it with a crystal ball.

I'm not dying, but I'm still getting 0 drops. Something is horribly wrong with my tactics. Getting frustrated with the lack of success. Treasures of Tokuno was so much more fun.
