Would Something Like DAoC's Knights of the Round Table Program Help UO?

Dark Age of Camelot, the other EA game which Broadsword manages, has a program called the Knights of the Round Table. Apparently the program has existed for quite some time as a mechanism for a handful of players to act as conduits in providing player feedback to DAoC's dev team. About a year ago, Broadsword modified the program to require Knights to do more than just provide feedback while also adding a mechanism for interested players who don't want to take on the requirements of the Knight program to join the internal forum for DAoC to provide feedback.

Here is a description of the Knight program: Dark Age of Camelot .

Here is the page with the application for the Knights program or the internal forum: Dark Age of Camelot

In some ways, the Knight program sounds like UO's EM program, in that the Knights are expected to "lead scheduled in-game events" and "interface with the community in a positive, organizer role." However, Knights have other responsibilities as well that I've never seen listed as responsibilities for UO's Event Moderators, i.e.: (1) host Q&As; (2) create written or video guides; (3) stream, (4) participate in internal forum discussions; (5) bring game-related issues to developer attention; and (6) help test new changes on the Pendragon test-server, Another big difference is that the only compensation Knights receive for doing all of this is a comped account. UO's Event Moderators, on the other hand, are paid independent contractors (I believe they're paid about $200 per month for 20 hours of work, or something in that ball park plus I believe they also get a comped account to use only for their EM characters).

Here is the official DAoC Twitch page: Twitch .

Here is the list of completed Knight podcasts: Dark Age of Camelot. (From the Twitch page, it looks like there have been another seven podcasts already in 2016 not yet listed on that archive page.)

Does anyone think something like the Knights program would work for UO? If yes, would you implement the program the same as it exists for DAoC or would you modify it to some degree and would you have the Knight program replace UO's EM program or run alongside it? If no, why don't you think it would work for UO?

I would only do this if I were desperate.

However, if they implemented the requirements and got some good people to fill those spots, that would be excellent. I'd fully support this.

A lot of these programs though, abuse the help they receive. Sure they say it's only 20 hours a month but pretty sure most of those requirements would need to exceed that to produce anything fruitful.

I'd like to chat with some of those on DAOC to get their perspective.
