Would it be possible to slip a fix for Vet Reward banners and shields into a patch?

For years now, Decorative Shields and Banners have been "broken", making them very awkward to work with in houses.

The problems are that shields cannot be dyed (and this was supposed to be possible) and that neither can be raised or lowered. It says that they are not locked down, yet other "placed" decorative items behave just fine.

I reckon that this is likely not a "priority" issue, but it is one of a few things that bugs me as the additional functionality seems a relatively minor difference.

Hopefully if enough of us whine about it, some dev will add it to a "to do" list somewhere and get it included in a future publish/patch.

So, anyone else bothered by not being able to raise or lower banners and shields? Anyone else want to be able to dye decorative wall shields?

I would be if I could actually get my hands on them.. I've been trying to for a while and they are very difficult to come by since no one seems to pick them as rewards!

Hmmm, not sure about shields but I know I can raise and lower
my banners. You do have to say "I wish to lock this down" or at
least I did and raised it up no problem.

I just tried and yeppers it works.
And yep it was the vet reward banner. The UO banner you probably
already know is fine.
