Basically, I don't see any competing general service right now in the UO community especially since IRC usage has died down, and this has been fairly popular with other gaming communities. I like the ingame chat, and I like forums - but I wouldn't mind a more persistent and stable way to keep in contact and chat with people in UO. I do realize that a lot of people still use ICQ, but that doesn't allow for much general conversation.
Personally I've already been using it with the UDIC, SotA and other gaming communities I am involved with and it has been working quite well!
