While I dislike the EC, I must disagree with your post. I really disagree with number 2(lol). I am sure all of the modders would feel the same way( by the way I am not one). The developers built this into the UI so that the masses could have choices. There has been alot of hard work put into the mods and as I have tried them I can say that the interface is better than what the devs have created. Taking a fellow players hard work that has made the interface better and nerfing it would be a slap in the face, ecspecially when they are sharing it with everyone that wants it. He could have just kept it for himself. If it is that big of an advantage than I say learn to play the EC.

Killing the KR client was the last straw for me, while it was active I did reactivate my accounts (I hate to admit this) and I was genuinely starting to enjoy the game again despite my very old player hat that I wear prominently on stratics.
I saw the so called enhanced client and it made me wretch, I mean they couldn't even give an option to keep the KR artwork or anything. That's been my luck with UO, I had finally decided to get over the crappy direction the game took years ago and try to give the new thing a chance and they go off and scrap it too.
I agree with AesSedai completely on the issue and would only ever reconsider coming back to the game if they reinstated the KR client, or at least the art.

I agree with this 100%. There's absolutely nothing more important to me than seeing some forward progress made in terms of improved graphics or higher resolution.
I miss UOKR alot. I'm still bitter that the client was taken away after playing on it for 2 years. I'm not happy at all with the EC graphics when they pale in comparison to the beautiful artwork that we had in UOKR.
why should anyone be forced to play the classic client or the SA client.
If they wanted people to to change to the EC all they have to do is make a new dungeon that is EC only. The most important part is to make sure the new content is free and have no fees attached to it other than downloading and using the free client anyone can download.
Until this happens the EC will not get the player use it needs to phase out the old client. Since EA is not capable of giving anything away for free anymore(booster pack instead of live team content) then we have no fear of this happening.
On the EC nerf stuff; No.
