Work on Our Imbuing Calculator Resumed.

After being dorment some time due to real life issues, such as work and declining interest in ultima, we are now back to developing on the imbuing calculator.

Knuckleheads.dk - Imbuing Calculator [BETA] is the url to the fully functional imbuing calculator.

Known Issues:

Mana and Life Leech not accurate, due to weapon speed not taken in to consideration yet. (this is coming soon)

Resist on armor is currently in addition to the Base resists of the armor type you are imbuing, IE. The base resists of Plain leather armor is 2/4/3/3/3

There is a minor bug changing hit spell effects.

these will be fixed eventually.

Coming Features:

Mod and Materials List

Armor type database

Artifacts database

Ability to add results of the imbuing Calculator to our database, and fetch it at any time with an ID tag

Materials Cosumed List with Estimated Materials consumed for the result of the Imbuing Calculator

Ability to Make an intire Suit in the calculator, Seeing combined mods and Tweaking the set

This is a tough one to figure out. Keep in mind you need to consider SSI mod on weapon as well, not just weapon speed. I've been working on an imbuing calc as well, but haven't yet perfected the formula ;S.

Ah okay, but that formula on UOGuide isn't accurate when it comes to calculating SSI. That's the problem with UOGuide, heh. For example, don't use the imbuing weights page on UOGuide either, the person who made it half-assed it and didn't include all Mods.

Yes, bows are different. If you guys have any trouble and need help I'll PM you the formula I came up with. I figured out my problem and it wasn't my formula, it was rounding. Otherwise, I'll let you guys discover the fun .

yea, we double checked everything with ingame menus/stats

we still working on the success chance formula but this is teasin us, but already many new things have been added to our test calculator and seems to be functioning well.

Just want to mention (yet again) that if people find it similar to one on certain gold selling/vendor browsing sites, it is, they ripped ours off.

Wow, that's really sad. You should contact them and ask that they remove it ... that's total bull****. I guess the text below the stolen calc is copied from UOGuide or something as well. :/ ... I wish copyright law was a bit easier to enforce. Especially when it comes to a programmer stealing someone else's script without credit, I mean wtf is that ...

I added imbuing weights to our magic effects table:

we did contact them, and they admitted they ripped it of, and wanted to pay us $ for being allowed to continue using it, we told em no since we not interested in our work to be availible anywhere else but out own site and asked them to take it off, instead they said they would replace it with thier own which practicly is just a bit changing in our code and the claim it as thier own.

but kinda let it go, unless someone knows a free copyright lawyer.

No offense to UOGuide or Strats etc but Gilmour had right idea as far as programming something -- use the source, hehe. A copy of a copy of a copy of a copy of a ... not good for programming. But I'll check that out some time, looks cool .

It would be handy if the jewelry section had a extra spot for SSI, 50 EP and Mana regen 2 as these are mods people try to add often to thier stuff. Sorry to hear that those people stole your line, lame.
