Woodland 'Sampire' armor on an Archer

Since I lost all my armor thanks to Slasher (spent a lot on money on the Magincia houses, didn't refill bank, slasher summoned me up on that fountain ledge, didn't realize I was broke... lost really sweet suit including garb/trinket..)....

Anyway, after making the woodland suit for my sampire, I've come to really like the 100 DI- extra mods from the suit. Really, it would be pretty much the same suit- he'd be a whammy, so the mana shouldn't be an issue.

What'ca think?

i use a woodland suit on my bush swords pvpr. i enhanced with bloodwood for the hpr.

i am very pleased with it. of course it is non medable but every piece has mr and the diff imo is neglelable considering the mods you can put on.

used a forge tool of course.

I'd have no problem doing this for a PvM type of char and more so since you are in wammy mode. I actually used some Woodland AR for a pvping mystic dexxer I made and it worked fine but the mana issues are different with this char then for a typical guy who fights without massive damage burst.

I use practically the same woodland suite on my necro archer as i do on my sampire, the only difference i think is not having DCI on my jewelry [think i have ep instead and alchemy for throwing exp pots for fun :), other than that its almost the same.

The difference I have with my archer because all the bows can be enhanced with Yew I have 5 HCI and 10 DI less than my sampire suit. I imbue all my bows with 25 SSI plus four other properties, which takes me to 55 SSI total and every bow has seven properties from the yew enhance. Its real cool being able to use wood weapons instead of metal. The other difference is I use much lower SSI on the sampire like 10 on the suit and then the weapon may have small amounts unlike for an archer I feel that 55 SSI is required. Neither of my woodland pieces have DI and I have 90 on my suit.

Mostly now I am running Wraith form and only two imbued woodland pieces so I don't have to do +25 fire either. I use curse weapon so leeching health isn't a problem and I use the form leech without mana leech on my weapons. This lets me make some killer weapons.

It would work, but the most effective way to do it is with a gargoyle thrower because the soul glaive deals so much more damage/second than most heavy damaging bows and the +5% HCI bonus is a major help.

I have a garg thrower. :D Only had to do 1 resist imbue to get all 70s.
