Server Migration

After the Stratics Forum servers were moved the last time, most posts were lost. Is Stratics going to be preserving important threads like our Archives and Reference Section, or should some of us make a backup just in case?

Not the same situation, by a long way
Last time the boards were lost first, an accident at the data center. The new boards were brought into service early to replace them and data recovery had to be done to attempt to get back what was possible.
I don't have all the details, it happened a considerable time before I became ME, or even an admin.
