Wierd semi-crash in 2D... anyone else experienced this?

OK, I first noticed this the same day I downloaded the SA client a week or so ago, not sure if its me or the client, so wondering if anyone else has had something similar happen.

I'm trying to get to 120 smithy on my mule, I run a UOA macro (make 10), repeating till my pack is full, then smelt. Four times this afternoon I have had to restart because my macro has suddenly stopped, my pile of ingots disappears and I can't stop the macro, restart it, cast spells or chat in any form. Sometimes I can walk, but my packy doesn't follow me. Once or twice I've left the screen idle for a little while, waiting for the client to crash, but it never seems to get to that point. Logging out/in seems to fix it temporarily.

Am I crazy? Or is there a new crash bug running around in 2D?

Most likely a buggy macro, or you hit lag spikes which blew up your macro. It leaves your client trying to execute a different action that what the server is expecting, hence the lockup.

Not crashed but i have noticed you 'hang' alot longer now waiting to enter the shard selection screen. 2d

Sometimes I get errors with with UOA moving things and it requirs a cleint restart to fix, been going on for about 2 years now.


Most the time I just get the, "you cant do that while dragging an items."

Bigger delays fixed most my macros on UOA, prob a bug fix from making the old recal with a ton of stuff go away, messing with the cleint running from UOA or most likey lag wile dragging an item looses track between the cleint and sever..

Could be a diff bug though, so sorry if I missed my mark

Thanks for the input, folks. Just thought it was a little sus, as I've been using the same (or a similar) macro for smithing since I first started training it months back. I'm thinking (and hoping) that it was just lag, as it has happened to me on my main during a champ spawn with no UOA macros running.

I don't use UOA but I have noticed that most of the times I log in, I can't pick up anything, or move anything around in my pack. I just get the message "you can't pick that up" and i have to log off/log on to fix it.

I've been having similar things when using UOA. It might be using a UOA macro that uses a resource creating a lock up, as I don't repeat or continue using the macro, the only UOA macro I have is apply aid and I've locked up a couple times lately.
