I came across some Com guys that had map maker pens on the bodies. Why would you need a pen to PVP? Is the old saying, "a pen is mightier than a sword" true?

Yes, why would you have one of those on you at all times. My T-Hunter has one of those but not any of my PvP chars. I can understand restocking bandies, pots, petals things like that, but map makers pens
