[Discussion] Why We Still Dont Have a Common Tread with Locations of Active Auction Safes?

Hello,

i think will be great for all buyers and sellers if we will have at the top topic where everybody can post pics and info about their constant, temporary and any other auctions with safes. No flood, just pic and some text... Something like a catalog, or yellow pages of UO lol. I mean ofc anybody can create separate topic with such info, but if all this info will be in one place, nobody will greate separate threads with this info, just coz they will fall down, but locked topic will be always on top.... And many other reasons, like always nice to be in base of sellers, if you are not a big seller + it is very nice for buyer to be well and quick informed about closest locations, and at least we will have cleaner trade forum, that is always better =)
also this can be very useful, especially since fact that 175m not a big price for even single item and it is difficult to sell something thru vendors, coz this limit was set on wellknown summ...

(didnt ask me why we have prices more that 175m lol )

I think many sellers really wish to inform ppl about location and dates, but them are just too lazy, may be they dont believe that somebody will find their safes in well hidden location in fel or something else, but looks like auction safes didn't works properly imo + many potential buyers just dont know that somewhere near somebody selling decent item lol =) All what buyer can do is

1) buy something for 175m or less

2) spamming in general chat

3) do not buy something for 175m or less

i hope if and when such base will appears, after will run week to week, month to month and prob after some time she will became great trade tool that everybody using, like stratics, uoseacrh or built in vendor search in their times leaded to improve market and prob he will run even better!

p.s. still hoping that devs will make built in auction safes search lol =)

I like this idea a lot. A sticky that people can post their safe locations in. We could maybe delete posts older than two weeks automatically to keep the content fresh. That way we don't get safes posted in here that are just a waste of time because the auction ended a while ago.

I know on LS luna there are two shoppes on the north side that continually have auctions in the safes. One has around 10 safes and the other 15.

first customer who detected ded auction can post msg like a comment to a msg of owner of safes.
prob moderator will need just clean up sometimes a topic to delete ded auctions, that was unresponded and marked as ded by customers.

We might be able to do crowd moderation with the thread and make it user controlled. If it gets abused we can just thread ban the user doing the abuse.

@Oscar the Grouch The crowd moderation idea definitely has potential, it would be cool if that could work. We can observe the thread I just made to see if that would be needed, and what needs to happen for it to be effective. If we see any issues in the new thread we will know what should happen to prevent the issues in the crowd moderated version.
