Well blow me down, long time since I have looked/posted here.
Seems I had to remake my old forum account aswell No fair :/

Anyway - some of you (I Hope) may remember me from waaaaaaay back in the day, as a member of [IMP], had my red called Enigma, and was often seen running round on my old pally fencing nox dexer Algranna.

Well I was mooching about the internet and came across some old images on a spare DVD (will try find them later in the week for some old harrower laughs), and thought about how I miss the game. Had a play on a [shudder] emulated shard for a hour, and boy things certainly seem to have changed since I last played - and iirc that was up until a few weeks after Samurai Empire was released.

So anyone want to be a nice cosy carebear and give me the concise changes?
Thinking of reactivation for a month and really do not want to spend the 30days having to retrain my toons, or work out new templates etc

Might drop the 14day trial on tomorrow also and have a play about - hopefully see some familiar faces.

How the hell are you mate? Havent heard from you since most of us old IMPs moved onto World of Warcraft.


Changes since the Samurai Empire... Well... there are apparantly loads and now that I've been back for 2 months all I can tell you is that I'm still experiencing new content and trying to adjust my old templates (or rather, making new chars, all my old ones were still red and after attempting to PK and failing miserably I decided it's be better to make entierly new characters and remain in trammel).

The PvP scene of "new UO" I cant tell you much about, other than that the suits we used to run around in, are now considered trash. Everyone seems to be running around with suits we could only dream of, wielding weapons we hadnt heard about and kills people within seconds.

The Pvm scene is where I´m at these days. Duo'd the old Doom Gauntlet with my brother (though I hear people solo it these days) and my luck is about the same as it used to be: No luck at all.

There are loads of spawns in the new area called "The Abyss", where materials for the new crafting skill imbuing drop, aswell as random artifacts (the latter requires that special component that I lack, RL luck)

These days we can also create Elves and Gargoyles. Nothing too fancy, elves have more mana and less carrying capacity than when humans do, gargoyles can fly.

All in all, there are so many changes that I dont even know half of them. I suggest you try out the 14 day free trial and see for yourself. Afterall, thats how UO used to be, and in many ways, still is.

The game has seen many updates , alot of things to discover, the most important ones:
New Elf race
New Gargoyle race
New Magery-skills which allow more diverse templates!
New Craft Skill Imbuing which with enough farming allows to tune your equipment to what ever you want it to be! With this skill, you now see basic decent suits for like 50k and well perfect high end suits reach millions!

Well I get paid in a few weeks so might see if it's worth a come back, my necro nox and tamer should be waiting for me to dust them off anyway.

The guild itself still exists in WoW, sadly none of us original IMPs are left :/ I left them about a year ago, the llikes of Draklon and Merel had quit WoW YEARS ago though ^^

Shadowmoon got deleted a few years back Cresty, the place as you prolly know was little moscow before they opened the russian realms. We all moved to Agamaggan, but I'm due to move again next month. None of the old IMPs play anymore that I know of. Nerf was an active griefer as was raziel - but then some things never change!
