Why does Failed Bushido spells use mana when other skills failed spells don't

I'll just list the skills that I'm familiar with, that when their spells fail, mana is NOT used:
- Magery
- Chivalry
- Spellweaving

But, Bushido uses mana when the Samuri fails a spell.

I don't feel this is good in any way, nor is it an "issue of balance". Please take away the mana cost for failed Bushido spells.

You are expending the mana to use the ability. Bushido and Ninjitsu aren't really casting spells.

It is like when you cast Poison but the target resists it. You still use the mana but fail the spell.

Chivalry does use mana on fail.

So add that to the list of 'to fix'.

Actually it doesn't fail it's just your karma's to poor to have a valid effect therefore wasting the mana.

Odd, The character is only trying to use Sacred Journey with 9500 karma. Either way, I still see it as a 'fail'.
