You know sometimes I get screwed and I laugh it off. It says right here on the freaking screen 100% chance of success. I have 120 imbuing 100 carp +30 talisman. I wouldn't have minded failing, but it says 100% chance of success right here in front of me.

I have noticed that the displayed percentages are well off when crafting. I have converted my oak stockpile into residue and should have a 94% chance of crafting the bokutos exceptional. Or in other words, 4 normal ones in a 100 crafted. I made way WAYYY more than that.
In other words, it just is. Be grateful if you didn´t lose the relic fragments while craftting the forges, I lost two of them while fizzling that.
