i had assumed at the time when they pulled magincia out of factions that there was gonna be some reason when the 'new mag' came out to kinda explain why.

but i cant see any reason for pulling it out.

infact i think we have missed a great opportunity to have some fantastic fights and a REAL reason to fight for that town now.

you could have guards that would actually be usefull in a faction town!

you could have faction venders and would be used!

you could have some massive house to house fights!

no, the more i think about it the more i think that pulling mag out of factions was a bad idea.
any chance it could come back in?

and no, im not just saying this cause im in TB and i have a MX on each side of my house..... well..... ok maybe i am, but still, it would definatlly make taking that town worthwhile!

What would happen to all the owners that are not in factions? would they be able to have thier vendors there also. Fel Mag is almost all guard zone so it looks like it may be a good spot for players to have a Fel vendor spot in a safe location.

It could be because people would be putting faction guards or faction traps in front of peoples houses. I don't see why they didn't make Jhelom a faction town.

yeah because we needed yewbie house hiding in mag...
Seriously. After having this fact dawn on all of the minds of PvPers there really isn't much argument.

Yes, there is always house hiding, but we don't need a town/base with tons of houses outside the base and the monolith.

The only point to factions (atm) is the items.

Guards are the bane of faction fighting. They stat and mess up being able to x heal red members in guard protected areas. You every wonder why their idea for new bases were no where around guard zones?

The faction vendors will be used anyways.

Do you go looking for house fights?

You sound uninformed on this aspect of UO.

Start heavily pvping and you'll understand why we want things changed all the time.

yes.

i started playing last week.
and actually yes i do go looking for house fights.

what im trying to say in this thread is that leaveing mag a faction town would have added some fun to factions and pvp for a bit.

granted house fighting and hiding would becoming boring and we'd all go back to yew gate..... and do the exact same thing there..... but it would give us a new place to run around and such.

seriouslly.... we dont need to run around the same bloody moongate people!

ughhh

leaving mag a faction town would have given us a option to go there and fight for it if we wanted too.
roaming around with the guards hiding around who knows what corner.
traps outside your door..... or is there....

no your right.
lets just go back to yew gate, that hasnt gotten boring yet
