Why are my health bars dropping off all of a sudden ?

Holy crap if provoking 2 ancient wyrms wasnt hard enough with 120 provo now as soon as I leave the screen to invis after a fail their health bars disappear, all the monster health bars drop off now when I leave their screen, what is going on and please tell me there is an easy fix I cant find.
