Just wondering, I picked the rocking horse just to see what it looked like and it was as big as the horse I was riding. I know they all aren't huge and maybe people dont like items build to scale.

Why are Holiday Gifts So Big?

here you go - angel (on ground to left of rubble palm tree), rocking horse (fairly obvious), and firefly lights (lining both walls at same height as top of holiday wreaths) can all be seen
the firefly lights blink red also.

The lights are pretty! Damn it I've been so busy with holiday baking I haven't been able to log in to get my stuff!
The only one that interested me was the fireflies, but when I got it I was disappointed. It looks like something I'd see on an 80's video game. I was hoping for something more realistic on the firefly colors with maybe some sort of swarm animation.
I've kept an account open since the beginning... but that may change between the lack of communication, the bugs that have gone unaddressed, the consideration of the content and the genuine appearance of the company giving a damn. I don't blame the devs... I know that most of the time it is the higher ups that drive the policies. I think most of the Devs do care, but have had their creativity and time pushed into areas that aren't their choice. When my 6 mo paid time is up on my main account (just renewed)... I may have to reevaluate that account. For now, we will be closing my fiance's account. I closed my secondary account earlier this year. This whole thing doesn't make me mad... just heartbroken.

*chuckles* That's cute. If you want to view my post that way, you are absolutely entitled to. However, I have always kept an account open since Beta so I'm not a fly by night. I really didn't think I'd ever reach a point where I'd consider closing that account and it makes me sad. I know my one account doesn't change things and I really do hope that UO makes it for years to come. Its just this vet expressing her opinion... that's all.
I love them all, even the big ol' rockin horse. I take these gifts in the manner they are presented to us as I would any gift from my family and friends.

Just so you know the rocking horse started out smaller, but the details were not there and you could not make out it had a head so we did have to go a little bigger to show that it had a head.

Well I can not even see the rocking horse yet .. still patching and I am hoping to get to see it, unless the patch all goes fubar on me.
But since the details were not there on a smaller version rocking horse in that you could not make out it had a head, maybe next October yall can take that same lil design and recycle it.
Turn the lil headless rocking horses design from Christmas, into being next HALLOWEEN's tiny, even blurry not detailed, thus scary all black collectibles.
The lil spooky headless horses can be a sort of deco gift item and as lil loots, garnered in some massive Halloween invasion of Nightmare steeds, & headless horsemen all, attacking the cities and citizens.
Just sayin maybe 'the lil headless horse' can still be put to good use yet, in the future for another sort of holiday like Halloween. *goes off to continue patching patch*

Do you need to lock the fireflies or anything else down? I noticed they dont have a locked down tag when you place them and you can dbl click them to redeed, but you can also lock them down to prevent that.
