Why 6 days?

I was thinking about the Exodus keys, why only 6 day life span? Why not 7? What about all those people (any there?) that only get to play UO once a week.

It is 7 days, beginning to countdown the moment u get them - so once u see them in your backpack it is 6 days, 23 hrs and 59 mins left....
