OOps sorry i pluged my cell phone into the wrong re-charger and blew the power. Power company said they should be up in the next day or 2.

Is there a problem with the login servers for Great Lakes? I been trying to get on and keep getting the message having trouble communicating with Origin

I only see a few west coast shards on the log in screen.

Yup, looks like an overall network problem and it's nailed the login servers too.

For me login was slow.....But, Oceania IS on the menu, and LS is not.

Is that the same issue, or is something else happening now too?

Still logged into Oceania... but not for long I guess, shard goes down for normal restart in ~10mins :/

stupid question ... but why don't the build the logging in functionality into the actual shards themselves instead of having a login server

the shards are "up" wayyyyy more often than the stupid login server is

thats odd, I can see all the shards now (except for Oceania which has just gone down for normal shard restart), logged into the shard list as normal.

connecting from Australia... might be the difference :p

There can be but one conclusion to draw from this.

EA is shutting down UO, and it's Trammel's fault.
