White statues?

How do you make white statues? Like a Warrior (South) one?

I looked online on the forums and someone said you use the dye and oak lumber, well I tried that and all I'm left with is some white boards that carpentry won't let me use. Any suggestions or am I doing something wrong?

Hello Spathi,

I believe (and I am sure others will be able to confirm this or not) that you should make your statue of the required special wood (not of normal wood) first of all. Then you will need to use the white dye on the actual warrior statue 'deed' to turn it white and then you can place it.
