White Dye Tub Rumor

Little rumor going around that I would like to squash right now.

Mesanna did not tell me players would be banned for the white dye tub, nor do I know if the UO Team will be banning, suspending or dropping a Hot Pink Dragon on your house for doing it.

I am not sure how the rumor started, but I did urge people NOT to do it, if they value their accounts. The reason I said that was because of past situations like this.

The devs need to act on it. The longer they stay silent, the longer people either intentionally or unintentionally(unknowingly) get themselves into questionable territory. Then, it becomes harder to fairly do something, or anything, about it. If they simply put an end to it but don't touch any of the existing issue, then they are just encouraging people to jump on such bandwagons as soon as possible in the future to get whatever it is before it's patched/fixed and then unavailable. Again, they need to act.

I don't see what the big deal is. It's a stupid white dye tub...

While it might not be working as intended, it's not harming anything.
