I concur.
If the question is in regards to you picking a shard the best question you should ask is what shard has the most people on when you are usually on. Such as while Atlantic may be the most populated shard, it may not appear so when you are online playing.
Best suggestion is to create some characters on a number of shards and see which has the most players on for your time.

A couple of years ago Atlantic tried to vote on another slogan other than "I am sure the server will be up soon". But, the RP'ers all started getting their feelings hurt because they felt they were being neglected so they dropped it. We are the most populated shard should have been the winner.
