Which NPC is going to take the Vanguard Swords/shields

I been looking and looking on Origin, the other day I help killed a VG in cove and got its sword, so I banked it waiting for pub 53, UO.COM news reports says its on Origin this weekend.

Now I have tried, the two soldiers at the castle, the NPC at the guild hall behind the bank, the NPC at east brit bank and the NPC in Tokuno, so I know where they all are, BUT none of them are taking Vanguard weapons!@@@@@

I know its Saturday, but I sure wish someone could check/double check to see if one of the NPCs are taking the shields?

I shall never stop being amazed at the ability for people to not reasearch their questions before asking to see if they had already come up.

If you can't find the information on your own since it's already been posted in a very public and visible spot, I don't think you deserve to be told.

"Where do I turn in the Phase 2 items?"

This got left out of the patch notes accidentally - the NPC is Yonns the Collector, and he hangs out in the Artist's Guild in (Trammel) Britain, right behind the bank. We're aware of the issue that creates for Siege, and we'll let you know where he'll be on Siege once the publish goes worldwide.

However that one is not taking the swords, and as I said already, I have check ever other NPC and none will take the swords. Cannot try the shield there since I did not get one yet, so have you turn in a sword yet to any of these NPCs on Origin, if so what the trick?

Origin will get to keep Publish 53 to itself for the weekend. There are a few bugs that we've identified that need fixing before it goes live - the main one being that Obsidian Blades and Chaos Shields are not actually being accepted by the Spring Cleaning NPCs.

thank you I did not see that, never read the entire FoF, guilty I get so far down the list on it and by the end I am just barely looking at it, and just want to get back in game.

I can understand that.. reading can be a pain sometimes when you expect there not to be anything interesting just ahead, but that's exactly why you need to pay attention at such times. You never know when that major plot twist will appear.

And yes, I was a bit rude.. but that's just how I always am.
