Which monsters drop black staffs?

Looking for a nice staff for my sammy-macer as War Hammers are a bit too slow.

I seem to get them on just about everything I kill so I think its just a random chance on anything you kill.

You will find them most often on Jukas.
After that, Giant Ice Serpents - and either Blood Elementals or Demons.

From my limited experience fighting Jukas, that sounds pretty accurate... I get them from Juka Warriors quite often, but I don't think they are magical, it's just the weapon they were using (like bandits). It's like having a higher probability of getting 2 handed axes off of orcs, but magical items have an equal chance with just about any big monster. I am probably wrong, though.

Try killing some Jukas and see what you get.
