Which Monsters Are In The Invasion? (Spoiler?)

We were told there are 6(?) categories of invasion monsters including Void, Elemental, Undead, Demon, Orc, Ophidian, and another I can't think of off the top of my head, but I was wondering specifically which monsters we could expect once this hits production shards. Would someone be so kind as to list some of the things we can look forward to?

During the testing in Skara Brae I seen almost all the different types of elemental. In britain I seen drakes, greater dragons, dragons, ancient wyrms and I think more.

Someone will have the a better full list Im sure.

I don't know. That was one of the reasons I made this thread. I sure hope it's not those dang things. I hated them in Moonglow. If they are though, there's got to be more than just them.

Another thing I'd like to know is if we can infect any of the creatures with blackrock. I plan on bringing a piece with me to all of the invasion cities anyway, but it would be cool to know ahead of time if it's possible. I'm always looking to add to my collection of boxes. I'm mighty proud of the Berserker Daemon box I have, along with the Dark Guardian one. I'd love to be able to add more one of a kind boxes to the stack.

I'm wondering if the Armageddon spell will work with blackrock again, now that we can insure small pieces.

I'm not sure about everyone else, but just running through zones I effect animals and they turn into blackrock infected. Although the spell I haven't bothered with trying lately. I was under the impression it didn't work now.

I too hope it's not the Void? Since that one special event they had where you had to goto the cave with the different virtues...do you remember that? The event was held in Ilshenar...through the Justice gate if I remember correctly.
It was a while back but...those were just awful lol

In Yew I saw daemons, chaos daemons and arcane daemons. In Skara Brae I saw fire, air and I think earth elementals. They seem to be harder to kill than normal spawn and gave more loot. Both Yew and Skara also had red npcs - I saw recruits and scouts. They had special colored armor as loot but no special properties. I tried smelting the armor down to obtain colored ingots, but they turned to iron. I also saw a crimson dragon spawn in both places. It's a tough foe and I spent most of my time dead once they spawned.....

Same here. I wish draconi would turn it on.

I'm afraid this is what is going to happen on regular shards. People in factions not doing there part so the monsters spawn.

Can we completly avoid the invasion by not taking the town sigils and every one boycotts fel.

This sounds pretty cool. I can't wait to try my hand at one of those bad boy dragons.

Second one is just the water elemental graphic from KR. Lich seems to be new tho, unless the bone daemon changed sometime without me knowing.

Yep it is a Water Elemental, sans bubbles. Also it is about two and a half times larger.

Water Ele or not it's still pretty cool looking. I don't do any hunting in KR so have no clue what most things look like outside of the normal Tamer pets and regular mounts.

That Wanderer of the Void looks really cool. I'm not sure I'm even interested in Moonglow though. After spending as much time there as I did last time, I'm about sick of the Fallen Warrior things. I had enough of them flying through rooftops then spamming heal on themselves.

I keep seeing everyone ask if armageddon will be working again. Is it broke? I can still and have been able to cast anytime I want. I have a blackrock obsession (450+ pieces) almost every charac on two accounts are infected and I carry multiple pieces with me and I can cast it ... So is it broke?

and yes I logged on as I was writing this and cast it ...

It would be great if Draconi would pop in here and let us know if Blackrock will have any influence on the invasion monsters. If so, it would be very cool of him to let us know which creatures are map carriers. I'd love to get something like an Orc General blackrock box.

Judging by the monsters we've heard of so far, "Void" is a reference to the Ethereal Void, the area through which the Shadowlords entered our world, in which the Moonglow "bubble" was located, in which the Void Shadow was fought (holy crap, does that mean we're gonna see a Void Shadow again??), and presumably in which Malas is located (the "sea of stars").

Why? Dont you think it would be fun?? Its players like these that sort of tipped UO into the direction it has been, in making everything "safe and cozy".

Sorry, I'm an old school player. Back when I was a kid there was no Tram.of Fel.!!! There was just UO. You could walk through the woods and you may just get attacked by a red!!! Added a little suspense to the game. Now you can be pleasant and sweet and prance through trammel dancing under rainbows and pick dandelion flowers while you collect ingredients for the GM cook youve been working hard at.
