Which is better human or elf?

As I have tamed about every colored cu except for the blaze colored one I'm starting to wonder if being an elf is really worth it. I really dislike the way the elf looks for male characters and the only reason I can think of for having him elf is to tame the cu's. I was wondering what your input is and what is your favorite race to play.

I dunno I may be a little too much into how my character looks. I like to have my characters look great instead of looking like a bad case of the 80's.

each race has justification to play as...

My main tamer is a human right now cause that lets me carry more stuff. He's been an elf twice I think. One great advantage to being an elf is it gives you a lot more options in armor. I think race-specific armor is a bad idea.

elf nightsight can be useful too.

My main tamer is human, but I think for my second tamer, I am going elf.

I want to try out a discord tamer, as when I left the game, there wasn't a Discord skill. It really sounds like a *very* useful template from what I've read here, and I know I will enjoy learning a totally new skill (for me).

I'm a girl, so my characters (so far) are all female. I do think the female elves look better than the males. I am also picky about my appearance. *grin*

I never understood the case of CU's : to ride them a human must wear pads, while an elf can ride barefoot right?

Are you also saying a human tamer cannot tame CU's?

Elves with sufficient tame/lore can own, tame & ride cu sidhes bare-bum nekkid if they wish.

Humans with sufficient tame/lore can own a cu sidhe but cannot mount one unless they are wearing the mini-artifact Pads of the Cu Sidhe. Humans can be otherwise clothing-free, if so desired, but must have those Pads to climb aboard the elf-dogs. Once a human is mounted, the Pads of the Cu Sidhe can be removed and more attractive footwear donned.

You are correct, simonovsk, human tamers cannot tame cu sidhes.

Good luck & good hunting!

Mhmhm thx for the precision Nico.

I don't regret building a human tamer tho, at least I can admire my hats while I'm training
