Wheres a cool place to put a fairly sizeable house?

Probably nowhere OBVIOUSLY cool (actually those are fine too), cause those spots are taken, but I feel like moving my spare house, and wanted to put it someplace neat. Like on the same screen as some neat landmark or a nice island or something?

Any pictures or descriptions of cool places?

Uvtha...as much as it pains me to do so, because I REALLY, REALLY, want to place a house, or two...or three...there, there is an EXCELLENT spot available on Siege. It is the spot I placed my first house on in 1997, and I affectionately refer to it as "the beach" (as mentioned in every one of my stories on the Atlantic forum here and www.ProtectorsofVirtue.com ,yes, I know, shameless plug! )

Just like on Atlantic, dolphins spawn here, as well as the occasional Water Ele and Sea Serpent.

It's a wonderful place for a home...I just wish I could place there without giving up my guild tower on Atl.

Lonely?

It was never lonely back in the day...just above us was a PK guild, and below us, the Trinsic Swamp, which was a haven for PKs, PvMers and Misc.

We got lots of traffic around that little beach. There were once 4 shops and the PoV Guild House there...which saw a lot of traffic.

I guess times change.

If I was on SP, and had two houses, the two raised platforms in Ter Mur accessible by a shared set of steps, overlooking the water just east of the Royal City would be killer for one person to own.

Of course, on SP, it would also be neat to have them owned by warring guilds and the area at the top of the steps be the mother of all battlefields (and probably attackable from both houses)

Those already got snapped up. I was considering putting a house there, but I got beat to it.

There are other coolish places that I would place that are already taken as well, like the medium sized space in the tunnels in the area near wind, and the place near destard with the small bridge going over a small pond with a statue in a wooded clearing.

Both my houses currently are in the ring outside the city of zento, and now that we have house teleporters I don't need both houses close to a moongate for my non magery having character. So far, nothing has caught my eye.

I believe I own the island you are speaking of on Catskills (SW of Zento). I call it Ebi Island (Ebi = prawn in Japanese) the island is shaped like a prawn or shrimp. I own both houses and I have to say it is one of my favorite places I have ever had housing. Certainly lonely at times, but you can't beat the view.

You can only place 2 story plots on the island as you can't fit a big enough plot for a 3 story. If I remember correctly the bigger plot is 13X13, but with two houses so close it works out.

It depends on how small you want to go though.

There's great little 10x10 spot near the mouth of the spirit river that can have no neighbors and is quiet and wind-swept. If I didn't have so much crap now I'd probably move back. I used to get one or two reds that would come to my "yard" to practice for some reason, they were like gazelle, they'd fly off the screen as soon as they noticed me log in.

there is an island in tram/fel that is really small, it can only hold two small towers... but it's an awesome island to own! And it's empty on most shards it seems, I think people forgot about it!
