[Pirates] Where to track Ships???

Hi,

I just started playing with the high seas Xpac and am have a hard time finding ships.

Where is the best place to hunt Merchants??

Where is the best place to hunt pirates??

Most of the Merchants I run into are

1. In the sea bordered by
Moonglow to the north, New Magincia and New Haven to the West, Serpents Isle & Fire Island to the south, and the server line to the east (though mostly to the west of the Floating Emporium.
2. Down amongst the southern islands around Serpents Isle, Bald Island, Temple Island, Valor Island and Amoeba Islands.

My best Pirate hunting is in the seas between Jhelom and Valor Island, though rarely I'll run into a pirate in the merchant areas.

Merchants and Pirates are often in the same areas. Try the areas:

1.) East of Jhelom over tp about Valor Isle and from the Brit Mainland to the southern Server line.
2.) The area east of Moonglow and Ice Isle over to the eastern Serverline.
3.) From the Zento Docks - sail south across the server line and explore the area there.

While you are onboard of your ship, there is a command that I cannot remember what it is exactly right now, that helps locating other ships at quite a distance from yours. Following the right command, an arrow appears pointing to the direction where you could find the other ship and by following the pointed arrow you can find it. It does not locate only pirate or merchant ships but any and all ships so you need to keep trying until you find what you are looking for.

Type "start tracking" on your boat. This should help you find ships in a pretty decent size area.
