Where to get plant pots?

Hi all,

I'd like to decorate my home with my own grown plants but can't find anywhere decent pots.

Either they are too small (like those you buy to plant seeds) or are empty (like the empty fruit basket).

The closest thing I could find is soup pots (yikes), they are large but... orange in the inside. Nice color for soup, but doesn't quite make it for dirt...

Do I have to use a trick (in which case, which one?) or can I buy some anywhere?

soup and stew bowls work pretty well... if you want a plain bowl that size, just eat whatever is in the bowl

you can get empty plant pots (earthenware looking ones) from the quest giver at the old Magencia moongate, but it's a random drop and you can only do it once per character

You can make square plant pots out of mahjong boards you buy from the provisioner, just buy a few of them and stack and lock them down, the put a small palm on top or something else that pops out of the "dirt".

I think the one on the south side I used square brocade goza mats to make a more solid but decorative planter.

Here I used barrel lids to make a larger area for the dirt.

There are actually quite a few things you can do, especially with SA out, since we can craft our own baskets and whatnot. I have used the 10th (is it 10th?) anniversary sculpture that will drop when you kill monsters in anti-virtue dungeons as a vase, then plunked the purple rose of trinnys on top. Both of those items can be dyed with tokuno dyes or the new SA dyes.

Also the large and small stone crafted vases look good with some plants. I think I usually do snowdrops. Those come in all the different ingot colors.

For good ground cover planters (like campions and poppies), plants that take up the whole tile, you can do water troughs. You would place two plants next to each other first, raise them up 10 or 12 times each, then place the water troughs underneath. The water troughs can be made of any of the special woods for those colors, or made from special wood then dyed with the ToT or new dyes.

I think I saw a new SA plant pot that is silver? At least it looked like something that could be used as a plant pot, but I totally forgot where I saw it. I don't think it was craftable though, I made all the carp and tinker stuff already, tho I still need to fill my stoneware vendors with the new stuff.

That's cool.

The majong boards are nice but I can't get anything appealing with cooking bowls atm. I tried placing barrel lids (or bread LOL) on top of them but they don't align properly when raised.

Also, the cocoa tree can't be placed on top of anything, nor raise or whatever, that will be a pain to put them on stone in a house, I'll try later on with gozas or whatnot.
